Storage and Backup
A backup is not a backup until you restore it.
Storage that grows with you and backups that have been tested, documented, and rehearsed. The day you need them is the wrong day to find out.
What I do
- NAS and SAN selection, design, and deployment, from enterprise practice at NetApp and Dell scale
- Storage migrations without data loss or weekend heroics
- Backup design with the 3-2-1 rule applied for real, including offsite
- Restore testing on a schedule, with evidence
- Ransomware resilience: immutability, isolation, and recovery time you know in advance
How engagements work
An audit of what you have and what would actually happen in a loss event. Then the design, the build, and a restore rehearsal. Ongoing checks keep the rehearsal honest.
Who it is for
Any business whose files, jobs, or records would hurt to lose. If nobody has tested a restore in the last year, that is the gap.
